Travelling in our motorhome we used the Portsmouth to Bilbao ferry and drove direct to Navarrenx. We had booked four nights but stayed for five so we could go to the excellent market on a Wednesday.

What a lovely campsite, and in an excellent location too. Generous pitches with water and drainage are well shaded by trees and shrubs. The whole campsite is so green you might be camping in someone’s garden. It’s an easy walk into town, to a supermarket or to a boulangerie for breakfast. I’m sure we’ll be back.
