Immaculate new toilet and shower block and very good welcome at reception, but difficult to get level on our pitch - we gave up as we only stayed one night. Close to the autoroute and an excellent site for stopover going in either direction. With a level pitch might be tempted to stay longer and explore region.

This is such a gem of a site. Great region, beautiful little town of Châtel-Guyon and Volvic all very close. But mostly I love this site because the owner is fantastic. This is such a friendly site with a little pool and a bar serving fantastic homemade food. Highly, highly recommended ??????????.

Just about everything. The pitch was large and the facilities were clean and well maintained. The people in the reception were full of smiles and pleased to see us when we arrived.
The entrance road is steep at the point it meets the public road on the left as you drive in. I came from the direction of Volvic so it was at an acute angle back on myself. To effect the turn I had to cut the corner causing the rear of my caravan to ground out. I was lucky that I had air suspension and was able to drop the car which effectively lifts the rear from contact with the road. This only happened because the caravan is very long and wouldn’t have been a problem for shorter caravans. Also if I’d had taken a wider approach I may have avoided the problem.
