Stayed in one of the little chalets and it was great. Campsite was good and was run by Sylvie who kept the place looking great. I really liked the fact that World Cup Rugby was shown on a big screen and beers and wine and platters of local meats and cheese were sold at a good price. Nice walks from the campsite to the castle in Vallon Pont D’Arc! Had a great holiday!

The site was beautiful, well serviced and maintained. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The region was excellent (we were caving), a trip to remember!

The campsite was away from the Route des Gorges and there were plenty of shady sites. The owner was really friendly and helpful and was also able to book a canoe trip down the Ardeche. She was able to provide information about the local area. The site had a small cafe/snack bar on site providing a good choice of well priced food and drinks. The pool was lovely and refreshing and the facilities mostly clean and plentiful. The water in the showers was hot. We would recommend as a place to stay in the Ardeche as long as you don't mind some general night time noise and a fairly busy summer season
The campsite itself was quiet but the Route des Gorges has many large campsites located on its length and these tended to play loud music most nights. Most of the time it did stop by 11.30pm but it ruined the general tranquility offered at Le Vieux Vallon. On some nights the campsite itself was noisy was past 11.30pm but this was due to other campers, not the actual campsite itself. It was also high season. There was little wrong about the campsite per se, but we would likely not stay there again as we prefer much smaller sites in less touristy areas.

Our site (no 32) was very shady but it was located up some steep wooden steps which made it tricky to take all of our camping equipment up and down.

Accueil chaleureux de la part de la gérante et très à l'écoute ! Le camping est très bien situé, il y a énormément de choses à faire dans un rayon d'à peine 15km.

Une grande baie vitrée qui une fois ouverte permet d'avoir une grande pièce de vie entre la terrasse et le salon ! Sur une semaine de séjour, tout les repas pris dehors, très agréable, qui, même par une forte chaleur est agréable avec un léger vent.
Les coussins un peu dur (chacun ses goûts bien sûr) et ménage/vaisselle pas super bien fait par les anciens locataires.
