This was our 10th visit to Parc de Fierbois, we love this campsite and the facilities it offers are fantastic. We were especially grateful for the air conditioning this year.

Amazing pitches in the woods with a peaceful feel to them. Hidden away from some great amenities including a Great Lake with inflatable fun!
Just the volume of the karaoke and entertainment in the evening carries through the resort. Fine for most I am sure and it’s quiet when it finishes around 11ish. I would prefer the volume a little quieter.

Power point on pitch 70 seems in a strange place to reach a Camper for us without nosey parking in.

A 1 week stay during peak season. A large campsite that has a lot of activities and copes very well with its size. We really liked how you could separate yourself from the main camping area and water park and go to the lake. So much on it was impossibly to cram everything in. A really lovely time.

The establishment
The beautiful lake and the general atmosphere at the campsite, it was very chilled and relaxed. The people running the kids clubs were absolutely lovely as well and we were sorry we didn't visit that earlier in our stay.
The food provision. The snack hut food is absolutely awful, inedible in fact, and the shop shutting for three and a half hours in the middle of the day was inconvenient when there is nowhere else to buy lunch items without getting in the car. The location of the campsite is not great, once you are there it is a long drive to visit anywhere off-site and so because of this the food options on-site really need to be better as there is no other choice. I was surprised that there was no café hut down at the lake, it was busy with potential customers.

The size of the pitch
The shower didn't drain properly so water always poured all over the floor and running through into the toilet so it was always wet and damp in there, without the really hot weather to dry it every day it wouldn't have been very nice at all. This is pitch 145. It was slightly odd that the pitch next door had to come onto our pitch to use their facilities but we had nice neighbours so it worked out fine.

Good spacious pitches, my daughter really enjoyed the kids club, we liked the lake with its giant inflatable plus fun entertainment in the bar.

Toilet block was absolutely spotless, very impressed. Loads for the kids to do and the adults too.
Not enough sun loungers round the pool at peak times, only alternative was the grass area. This would be fine but grass is dead and its a bit of a dust bowl. Fake grass would work or extend the pool patio area here too. very minor issue though compared to how good the rest of the site is.

The lake with the water course was brilliant. Very good facilities and recreational opportunities. Snack bar and pizzaria could have more choice.
the proximity to our friends, although with simultaneous booking, could not be taken into account. Dishes were missing, it was delivered only after asking twice.

Beautiful surroundings, Great for the family and the dog. The dog loved the lake and we all loved the pool. Premium pitch was fantastic in quiet location. Toilets were the nicest I have ever seen on a campsite! Staff were helpful
Bus stop was a 25 min fast walk to go anywhere, the tree climbing was cancelled due to shortage of staff which my son was looking forward to.

Grass could of been a little shorter, but it didn't bother us too much.. the dog still enjoyed sunbathing on it!
